The Snow Campaign Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) held their  annual Wreaths Across America ceremony — a local tradition of remembrance, gratitude, and civic unity, at Pine Lawn Cemetery in Pelzer on Saturday, December 13th.
The ceremony is part of the national effort to honor veterans by placing wreaths on the graves of service members, ensuring their sacrifice is never forgotten. The event included a brief program, followed by the placement of wreaths at the graves of all veterans interred at Pine Lawn. Volunteers took a moment at each gravesite to speak the veteran’s name aloud, fulfilling Wreaths Across America’s mission: remember, honor, and teach.
The Snow Campaign Chapter of DAR continues to support this meaningful annual observance as a way of connecting the community to the legacy of military service — especially during the holiday season, when remembrance carries deep emotional resonance.
