A lengthy investigation has led to a felony arrest of a local boutique owner accused of scamming more than $10,000 from at least 50 customers in Anderson County.
According to the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office, Detectives have charged Pamela Brooke Schronce, 30, who goes by “Brooke,” with the felony charge of Breach/Obtaining Property under False Pretenses.

SCHRONCE
Schronce, the owner of a children’s clothing boutique in Belton, has previously been arrested on misdemeanor charges in multiple jurisdictions including Easley, Fairfield County, Spartanburg County and now Anderson County.
According to investigators, Schronce scammed at least 54 victims who placed online orders but never received their merchandise. Detectives said she repeatedly provided fabricated excuses to explain the missing deliveries.
Authorities say the length of the investigation was due to the thorough nature of the case, as detectives awaited multiple financial search warrants to be processed and returned in order to confirm and document Schronce’s pattern of scamming.
The investigation determined the scams occurred between September 2023 and December 2025, resulting in a total customer loss of $10,491.53.
Schronce was being held at the Anderson County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.
