Walter Nation, Jr.
Walter B. Nation, Jr., 88, husband of the late Olive Porter Nation, of Williamston, passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at his home.
Born in Anderson County, he was a son of the late Walter B. Nation, Sr. and Lonnie Sargent Nation. He retired from Sargent Metal and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.
Survivors include daughters, Rhonda Gail Byrum and Karen Diane LeCroy; sister, Pat Williamson; three grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
The family received friends February 13 at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer with the funeral service following in the mortuary chapel. Burial was at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery, Williamston.

Evelyn Allison
Evelyn Irene Allison of Piedmont, 85, wife of the late Johnny Allison, passed away Friday, February 13, 2026.
Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Helen Lindsey McJunkin.
Mrs. Allison is survived by son, Steven Allison.

Theresa Inez Mayes Alexander of Pelzer, 67, widow of Joe Alan Alexander, passed away Thursday, February 12, 2026.
Born in Greenville County, she was the daughter of Boyce William Mays and Mary Vernelle Duncan Garland. She retired from the U.S. Postal Service.
Survivors include daughter, Tiffany Whitfield; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The family received friends February 16 at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer with the funeral service following in the mortuary chapel. Burial was at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery, Pelzer.

Janice Mary Shover Brunelle of Williamston, 90, wife of the late Wilfred Joseph Brunelle, passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2026.
Born in Richford, VT, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Lydia Corrine Shover.
She is survived by son, Gary Wilfred Brunelle; sister, Joyce Tessier; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
