Darrell Kelly
Robert Darrell “Dawg” Kelly of Williamston, 70, husband of 46 years to Shelia Elgin Kelly passed away Friday, February 20, 2026.
Born in Greenville, he was a son of the late James and Faye Garner Kelly. Mr. Kelly retired from Cryovac after working for 45 years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons, Chad Kelly and Michael “Sambo” Garner; daughter, Stacey Morrison; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; three brothers; and one sister.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 25, from 2:00 to 2:45 pm at Restoration Chapel Church of God of Prophecy with the funeral service following at 3:00 pm in the church. Burial will be at Pine Lawn Cemetery.

Robert Adkins
Robert “Bob” Franklin Adkins of Piedmont, 83, passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2026.
Born in Piedmont, he was a son of the late William Franklin and Maude Greer Adkins. Bob retired from Greyhound Bus Lines and the U.S. Postal Service. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Survivors include daughter, Cristy King; two grandchildren; nephews, Steve Payne and Jerry Charles Payne; and niece, Kathy Payne.
The family received friends February 21 at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer with the funeral service following at 2:00 p.m. in the mortuary chapel.

Linda Ross
Linda Sue Holcombe Ross of Williamston, 84, wife of the late Randall Levon Ross, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.
Born in Williamston, she was the daughter of the late Grover Franklin and Mildred Brewer Holcombe. She was the bookkeeper for Ross Plumbing Company until it was dissolved. Linda was known to cook delicious meals. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
She is survived by daughters, Ralinda Ross Jeanes of Pelzer, Christine Corneliussen of Guam with a home base of Easley, and Michael Ross Ashley of Craytonville; 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
The family received friends February 20 at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer with the funeral service following in the mortuary chapel. A private family burial was held.

William Wood
William Arthur Wood of Pelzer, 70, passed away Sunday, February 22, 2026 at his home.
Born in Miami, FL, he was a son of the late James Pleas Wood, Sr. and Ann Marie Henderson Wood. He was a carpenter and furniture maker. He enjoyed fishing and collecting rocks for his grandkids.
Survivors include children, Christy Sisk, Richard Donovan Wood, Thomas Jacob Wood, and Samantha Ann Fowler; brother, James “Jimmy” Wood, Jr.; and four grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, February 25, at 3:00 p.m. at Bethel Church of God of the Abrahamic Faith.

Bobby Eugene Patterson, Jr., 69, of Pelzer, passed away Friday, February 20, 2026 at his home.
Born in Greenville, he was a son of the late Bobby Eugene Patterson, Sr. and Catherine Smith Patterson. He retired from Save A Lot and attended Ware Place Church of God.
Survivors include son, Thomas Patterson; one grandchild; and brothers, William, Grover, and Bill Patterson.

Piedmont – Linda Lee Farrow Estes, 85, wife of the late Jackie Allen Estes, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, February 19, 2026.
Born in Piedmont, she was a daughter of the late Willie Earl and Lila Gertrude Whitlock Farrow. She was a member of The Potter’s House Christian Fellowship.
She is survived by step-son, Buddy Estes (Nancy); sister, Bonnie Faye McElroy; brother, Robert Earl Farrow (Jeannie); grandchildren, Autumn Estes and Jackson Estes; great-grandchildren; Jaclyn Estes, Kenzlee Pitts, and Cayden Pitts; niece, Salley McDuffie; nephews, Earl Stricklin, Johnny McElroy, Kenny McElroy, Jeff Farrow, Robert Farrow, and Terry Farrow; great-nieces, Lindsey Capps, Mandy Headen, Erica Headen, Ashley Jordan, Nikki Moody, Katie Newby, Kari McElroy, Candice Surett, Crystal King, Brianna McElroy, and Maddison Crawford; and great-nephews, Steven Stricklin, Kyle McElroy, Heath McElroy, Cooper McElroy, and Dalton Konduros.
She was predeceased by sister, Sandra Kay Stricklin; brother, Willie Michael “Mickey” Farrow; and nephew, Michael Stricklin.
