Anderson County Sheriff’s Deputies and Detectives responded to Highway 413 early Sunday morning after a man broke into his ex-wife’s home with a handgun and pointed it at her and another man inside.
The suspect, David Lee Cook, then fired a shot at the man and the bullet grazed the victim’s leg resulting in non-life threatening injuries.
A statewide BOLO was issued for Cook after he fled from the residence.
Deputies located Cook in Anderson County late Sunday morning.
Cook is facing charges of Assault and Battery High and Aggravated in Nature, Domestic Violence and Burglary.
He remains inside the Anderson County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.
