Applications now being accepted
The 45th Annual Spring Water Festival will be held in Williamston’s historic Mineral Spring Park on Friday and Saturday, May 1 and 2.
This years festival will include the 5K Spring Water Run, auto show, firetruck rides and more. More than 75 vendors are expected. A variety of food vendors will be offering festival food and drinks.
The Spring Water Festival will have a FREE children’s fun zone with bounce/inflatables and the new playground area in Mineral Spring Park will be open!
There will be a special contest will be held for children interested in being named “Mayor for a Day”. Williamston Mayor Rockey Burgess, Pelzer Mayor Chase Smithwick and West Pelzer Mayor Rick Sanders will judge the contestants.
Also being planned are a Pickleball Tournament and a Disc Golf Tournament.
Applications are now being accepted for craft, business and non-profit vendors, auto show participants and 5K Spring Water Run.
This year the Spring Water Festival will limit craft, boutique and small business vendor spaces in the craft area to fifty vendors. Deadline to apply online is April 11. Payment for vendor spots must be received by 12 am April 18. All applications must be submitted via the Google form link which is on the Spring Water Festival website.
Craft displays, including supports for tents, must fit within an 11×11 space(s) provided. All vendor spaces will be assigned by the committee. There will be a limit of two vendors with like items. MLM vendors will be one vendor per show.
Vendor fee for Friday only is $50, Saturday only $75 or both days $100. A Tax ID for the South Carolina Department of Revenue (SCDOR) is required to sell at the Spring Water Festival.
Area businesses are invited to have a display at the festival to offer free information about the business and give-aways for festival attendees.
Business displays are along the sidewalk in the center of Mineral Spring Park. The sell of goods or services is prohibited in this area. Vendors are not permitted to distribute food or beverage items, except for water. The Display Vendor fee is $50. Deadline for application is April 18.
Nonprofit organizations are invited to be a part of the festival. Non-profits may collect donations with prior approval from the Spring Water Festival Committee. For recognized organizations there is no fee for a display space.
The Spring Water Festival has a category for Not-For-Profit Organizations wishing to sell items such as books, calendars, cookbooks or T-shirts, as a fundraiser. Items must be approved in advance by the Spring Water Festival Committee. The Not-For-Profit Selling Fee is $35.

The 5K Spring Water Run/Walk will be held Saturday, May 2 at 7:30 am.
Event registration and start will be held at 4 W Main St. at the parking lot beside McDonald’s.
Registration prior to April 14 is $20 and will increase after that. Registration fee includes a race shirt, bib, and timing chip. Race shirts can be added on to any registration for $12 each. Packet pickup will be held race morning starting at 6:30 am. Cash and gift card prizes will be awarded to the top 3 females and males. All proceeds go towards renovations for the Mineral Spring Park.
The Auto Show will be held Saturday, May 2 at the Williamston Fire Department. Auto show participants are encouraged to pre-register online.
Registration fee is $25. The fee is $20 if you have a poker chip from last year’s show. Registration will start 8 am until 12 pm. Awards will be presented at 3 pm.
Awards include the Will Drake Memorial Award, Top 25 Vehicles, “Best Of” (GM, Ford, truck, street rod, Mopar (original), Steve Ellison Award and Best Rat Rod.
