The investigation into skeletal remains found recently on Lawrence Road in Anderson is ongoing. On March 31, the Anderson County Office of the Coroner reported that several agencies from across the region have been involved in the effort to determine the identity of the victim. Included are Clemson University Anthropology Dept., Foothills Search and Rescue; Anderson County Sheriff’s Office (Criminal investigations division, forensics, special operations, dive and drone), Anderson Roads and Bridges and Anderson County Emergency Management.
