On March 29, the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of bones found on Lawrence Road, Homeland Park area of Anderson. According to reports, the bones were found by children playing along a creek. Upon arrival, Deputies informed the Coroner’s Office that they suspected the bones to be human. Investigators responded to the scene and were able to gather numerous bones that are believed to belong to an individual and that have been there for some time.
