Williamston – Patricia Whitlow Mashburn, 83, wife of Charles Richard “Buddy” Mashburn, passed away Monday, April 6, 2026.
Born in Fairfield, AL, she was a daughter of the late Delbert Thomas and Lucile Lyles Whitlow. She was a loving wife, mother, and homemaker. Pat enjoyed travel, gardening, art, reading, and spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by children, Robin Simpson (Tim), Ross Mashburn (Jill), Ria Smith (Chris), and Richard Mashburn (Mandy); grandchildren, Tobin Simpson (Katie), David Simpson (Sheena), Naomi Morgan (Christopher), Chase Smith (Abbey), Garrett Smith (fiancé -Amber), and Rick Mashburn (Meredith); great-grandchildren, Josh Bennett, Ayden Bennett, Ella Simpson, Eva Simpson, Blake Mashburn, Landon Mashburn, and Carter Mashburn; and sisters, JoAnn Kennedy and Janet Graves.
The funeral service were held Friday, April 10, at 2:00 p.m. at Gray Mortuary Chapel, Pelzer with visitation following the service. A private burial was held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Anderson.

Delise Stone
Delise Ayers Stone, of Pelzer,68, widow of James Milton “Butch” Stone, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2026.
Born in Elberton, GA, she was a daughter of the late Lester Rendell and Claudia Helen Bond Ayers. She was employed with Randstand and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.
Survivors include daughters, Crissy Haguewood, Angela Mitchell, and Nancy Minniear; step-daughter, Savannah Lynch; grandchildren, Briana “Sharky” Talley, Nathan Talley, Skylar Herring, Sidney Rulevitch, Harley Mitchell, Alexis Boyce, Peter Korn-Minniear, Nathanael, Elias, Jane, and Declan Lynch; great-grandchildren, Oakley Herring, Bo and Warren Rulevitch; and sisters, Elaine Stokes and Sherri Martin.
The family received friends April 19 at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer with the funeral service followed in the mortuary chapel. Burial was at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will be at the home of Delise Stone, 218 Easley Hwy, Pelzer to receive friends and family as well.

Judy Turner
Judy Ann Childs Turner, of Townville, 79, wife of James “Jim” Norman Turner, Jr., passed away Monday, April 20, 2026.
Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Reba Rainey Garrett Childs. She was a 1964 graduate of Berea High School, a member of Bethel Church of God of the Abrahamic Faith and attended Joy Fellowship Church. Judy was a devoted wife and mother.
In addition to her husband of 62 years, she is survived by daughter, Michelle Turner; brother-in-law, Roddy Turner; sister-in-law, Kathy Elgin; and cousin, Patricia Smith.
A private graveside service will be held.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, May 3, at 2:00 pm at Bethel Church of God of the Abrahamic Faith with visitation following the service.

Shelby Green
Shelby Jean Sams Green of Simpsonville, 81, wife of Glenn Terry Green, passed away Thursday, April 16, 2026.
Born in Pelzer, she was a daughter of the late Elbert Edward and Glaudis Avis Hawkins Sams. She retired from Fountain Inn Post Acute. Shelby loved her dogs, Paisley and Hope.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by children, Shelby Ann Green, Michelle Langston, Timmy Billingsley, and Teresa Medlin; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; brother, Eddie Sams; and sister, Bobbie Cordale.
A graveside service will be held Friday, April 24, at 11:00 a.m. at Greenville Memorial Gardens.

Kevin Brent Adams
Kevin Brent Adams, 75, of Williamston, SC, passed away on April 5, 2026, surrounded by his family at his home.
Born October 28,1950 in Hammonton, NJ, Kevin retired as a safety director of a large road construction company in Florida and moved to SC to be close to his daughter and her husband and his new grandbaby.
He loved working on old cars and restoring them. Kevin and his wife made a talented team. He made the cars run and she made the interior beautiful. They both had classic cars and enjoyed going to car shows and gatherings.
Kevin is survived by his wife, Chris Adams, his daughter, Marci Martin, and her husband Robert Martin, his two sons, Rich Vincent and his wife Kristi Vincent and Christopher Vincent, and his brother, Wade Adams. As well as his grandchildren, Kelli Buhrmaster, husband Zack Buhrmaster, and great granddaughter, Wrenli Buhrmaster.
The family is planning a celebration of life that will be held at their home at a later date, in the near future.
