A 92-year-old female from Pendleton died following a motor vehicle at Highway 76 and Perimeter Road in Pendleton last Friday (Apr. 24).
According to reports, Anderson County 911 received a call Friday afternoon just after 4pm.
Responders arrived on scene to find a victim in critical condition, she was treated and flown to Prisma Greenville where she succumbed to her injuries.
The Anderson County Coroner’s Office identified the woman as Dorothy Sears Moore of Pendleton.
Preliminary investigation showed that the victim was driving on Perimeter Road when she entered into the lane of traffic on Highway 76 and was struck by a vehicle.
Anderson County Office of the Coroner and South Carolina Highway Patrol investigated.
