A Belton man man died over a week after being involved in a wreck on Highway 247 at Murphy Road in Belton.
The wreck happened around 8 pm on June 13. According to reports, responders arrived and found the driver of the vehicle suffering from multiple injuries. He was treated on scene and taken to Prisma Greenville where he succumbed to his injuries on June 22 .
The Anderson County office of the Coroner identified the deceased victim as James Gregory Taylor, 66, of Belton.
Preliminary investigation shows that the victim was driving North on Highway 247 when he crossed the center line and struck a ditch.
The wreck scene was investigated by the Anderson County Office of the Coroner and the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
