Joan Enloe, Chris Moon, Heather Eaton

Heather Eaton

Belton – Heather Michelle Meece Eaton, 47, wife of Mackenzie “Mack” Craig Hedglin, passed away peacefully in the presence of her family Monday, July 20, 2026.

Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of Connie Melinda Hawkins Meece and the late Lonnie Earl Meece, Jr. She was formerly a cosmetologist at the Salon and Day Spa in Williamston. Heather loved the beach, tending to her flowers, rocking in her special chair on her front porch, and spending time with her family. She brought sunshine to everyone she met.

In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by sons, Dylan Kyle Eaton (Gracie) and Devin Trey Eaton (Bree); grandchild, Addi Jo Eaton; and mother-in-law, Wanda Brown.

She was predeceased by grandparents, Carlton and Helen Hawkins.

A visitation will be held Thursday, July 23, from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer followed by the funeral service at 11:00 am in the mortuary chapel. Burial will be at White Plains Baptist Church Cemetery.

Chris Moon

Simpsonville – Christopher “Chris” Moon, 54, husband of Melodie Love Simpson Moon, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2026.

Born in San Antonio, TX, he was the son of Karen Jo Steele Miller (David) and the late Bryan Jay Moon. He was currently employed with Sealed Air/Cryovac in Simpsonville.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by sister, Erin Moon; nephew, Nicholas Hassel; step-mother, Lori Esselburn (Marvin); uncle, Ronnie Steele (Lisa); aunts, Teresa Daunce (Mike), Tami Beeson (Chris), and Kimba Landrith; numerous other family members; and beloved pets, Beda, Ollie, and Henry.

The family will receive friends Saturday, July 25, from 11:30 a.m. – 1:15 p.m. at Beech Springs Church with the funeral service following at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be at Greenville Memorial Gardens.

Joan Enloe

Joan Juanita Gallamore Enloe, 77,  of Easley, wife of the late Johnny Dean Enloe, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2026.

Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late John Grover and Margaret Howard Gallamore. She retired from the Greenville Hospital System and was a faithful follower and servant of her Savior Jesus Christ.

She is survived by son, Josh Enloe; daughter, Britney Thames; brothers, Donnie Gallamore, Jack Gallamore and Rev. David Gallamore; sisters, Sandra Raines, Debbie Mahaffey, and Ann Stratton; sisters-in-law, Kay Gudger and Debra Enloe; seven grandchildren.

A celebration of life service with an informal reception was held July 21, at The Barn at Sitton Hill, 1904 Sitton Hill Rd., Easley. 

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Home Instead of Anderson and all the caregivers who have loved our family during this time.
