An 65-year old Easley man died Friday after being electrocuted while working on a Heat/AC unit at a business in Piedmont.
According to reports, Anderson County 911 received a call at 2:45 pm on Friday at a business on Highway 86 in Piedmont. Responders arrived to find a male on a scissor lift that was unresponsive, he was treated, but succumbed to his injuries on scene.
The Anderson County Office of the Coroner identified that man as Perry Ernest Anderson, 65, of Easley.
Preliminary investigation shows that the victim was working on a heater/AC unit in the business when he was shocked by a live wire. The manner of death has been ruled accidental.
The Anderson County Office of the Coroner and the Anderson County Sherrif’s Office investigated.
