The 45th Annual Spring Water Festival will be held in Williamston’s historic Mineral Spring Park this weekend, August 21-22. Festival hours are 6 pm – 10 pm Friday and 9 am – 4 pm on Saturday. This year’s festival will include the 5K Spring Water Run, auto show, firetruck rides and more.
More than 75 vendors are expected. Fourteen food vendors will be offering a variety of festival food and drinks.
The Spring Water Festival will have a FREE children’s fun zone with bounce/inflatables and the new playground area in Mineral Spring Park will be open.
This year’s festival entertainment will feature a local lineup.
“Because of the previous weather related schedule changes, we’ve had to make a few updates to this year’s music lineup,” said entertainment organizer Brandi Colt. “We are incredibly excited about where the lineup has landed, because this year’s Springwater Festival is bringing together some seriously talented independent musicians from right here in the Upstate.”
Bob Seymore will bring the town’s founder West Allen Williams to life as a “living statue” providing information on the history of Williamston.
Music will include country, roots to blues, Americana and more.
“This is a weekend built around the incredible artists who are creating, writing, recording and performing right here in our own backyard,”Colt said.
“We’re especially proud that so many of these artists are connected to our music sponsors, Poe Mill Music and Milltown Productions and play music at our artist hospitality sponsors venue Golden Grove Farm and Brew, along with one of our favorite local musical institutions, Anderson University’s AUthenticity.”
Performing on Friday night will be Mill Town Shoals, featuring Brandi Colt and Andrew Crawford, Easley native Zac Kellum and Jack Greer.
