The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office charged Otis Ran Cisco Ramsey, 46, in connection to an incident that occurred Aug. 25 at 1911 Trail Rd in Belton. Ramsey was charged with Domestic Violence of a High and Aggravated Nature and Kidnapping.
According to reports, at approximately 4:52 a.m., ACSO Deputies responded to the residence in reference to a domestic disturbance call for service. Deputies attempted to make contact with Ramsey after being advised by the victim of the disturbance.
Instead of speaking with Deputies, Ramsey barricaded himself within the residence and refused to exit or allow the victim to exit while brandishing a firearm. Entry was made by the Sheriff’s Office and Ramsey was taken into custody without incident. The victim was not injured.
