Domino’s Pizza will open in Williamston Thursday, September 3, at 10:30 ready to serve from a newly constructed building at 716 Anderson Drive. “We’re excited to be here,” said young entrepreneur Connor Rice. “It’s taken a little more time than planned, but we’re here.”
This is the third location Rice has opened locally in just three years, including one in Piedmont and also one in Belton, with plans for another in Woodruff to begin construction in January.
Starting with Domino’s over 10 years ago delivering pizza, Rice has learned every detail in making and delivering pizza and what it takes to run a business and satisfy customers. Dedicated to that concept, he became one of the youngest Domino’s franchise owners at the age of 26 when he opened his first store in Piedmont in July, 2023.
While Williamston was planned to be the second location, securing the building which once housed Regions Bank, with hopes to renovate, hit a few roadblocks and resulted in having to demolish and start building from scratch. Meanwhile, Rice was able to renovate and open the Belton location in 2025.
“We’re looking forward to being a part of the Williamston community and working with churches, schools and nonprofits as well as serving the community,” he said. Rice moved to Anderson County four and a half years ago, met his wife and now has a one year old daughter and a son on the way.
The new facility is 1700 square feet, includes a pick-up window, large kitchen area with double stack ovens and the most up-to-date equipment, and lobby offering carry out and delivery.
Rice said this is a big weekend with plans to open Thursday and invites the community to come out for live entertainment on Saturday from 4 to 7 pm featuring Austin Mauldin from Seneca.
The new Domino’s will be open daily at 10:30 am and stay open until midnight Sunday through Thursday and until 1 am Friday and Saturday. Phone number is (864) 786-1551. Orders and access by the website Dominos.com=
