South Hamilton Street at Harbison Drive was closed Monday afternoon due to an 18 wheeler apparently running over a natural gas regulator. The truck left the scene. Natural gas was spewing into the air. West Pelzer firefighters responded to the scene and waited on the gas company. Williamston police officers assisted with traffic control.
