Piedmont – James Michael “Mike” Eaton, 70, husband of Abbie Louise Farmer Eaton, passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at his home.
Born at Fort Bragg, NC, he was the son of the late James Robert Eaton and Anne Mae Fowler Eaton Fell. He was owner of Mike Eaton Painting and a member of Bessie Road Baptist Church. Mike was a hardworking, devoted Christian and family man.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by children, Amy Eaton, Jamie Eaton, Renea Kennedy (David), and Ashley Neely (Matthew); grandchildren, Skky Newton, Jayde Peck, Brandon Davis, Emily Davis, Sophia Neely, and Kinsley Neely; and sisters, Sandy Wrights and Michelle Newton (Andy).
The family received friends September 29, at Bessie Road Baptist Church with the funeral service followed at the church. Burial was at Greenville Memorial Gardens.
