A power pole hangs from the electrical lines Friday afternoon following a accident on Murphy Road. The driver of a pickup truck swerved to avoid an oncoming vehicle in his lane when he apparently lost control of his truck. The truck ran off the road and struck the pole near the intersection of Benton Road, breaking it in two. The driver suffered minor injuries. (Photo by David Rogers)
