One person was injured in a one vehicle accident Tuesday morning on US. Hwy. 29 near the Whitefield Convenience Center. A passerby helped the driver until Medshore Ambulance Service and Whitefield Fire Department responded to the accident. The accident occurred at approximately 10:40 a.m. involved a pickup truck pulling a trailer which apparently ran off the road and stuck a tree. Hwy. 29 traffic was slowed to one lane but was not blocked.
