Williamston Police Report

Williamston Police Officers investigated the following incidents:

Mar. 1 – Dustin Matthew Dionne, 26, 111 Davis St,. #3, Williamston reported a black Kaitong Moped stolen. The moped was secured by a chain which was cut. The moped was valued at $990. M. E. Simmons investigated.

Feb. 27 – Tyimesha Raedawn Scott, 20, 110 E. Carolina St,. Williamston reported a tag stolen from a 2003 Saturn Ion. S. N. Robison investigated.

SavWay, 309 E. Main St. reported a white female tried to pass a counterfeit $100 bill at the store but did not obtain any goods due to the clerk knowing it was a fake bill. Cpl. L. E. Mulz investigated.

Mar. 2 – Officers were dispatched to Fast Fuel, 207 West Main St. in reference to an assault. According to reports, Amber Brooos stated she and a co-worker got into a verbal altercation that turned physical when the co-worker struck her several times on the back of her shoulder. Brooks stated she did not strike back and called 911. The case was to be presented to Judge Lollis. Cpl. L. E. Mulz investigated.

Mar. 3 – SavWay, 309 E. Main St., Williamston reported a gas drive off in which an older white female driving an older model blue color van pumped $20.03 in gas and drove off without paying. Z. T. Parks investigated.

Mar. 3 – Vincente Eugeneo Espinoza, III, 21, 37 Knight St., Williamston was arrested for assault after officers were dispatched to the address in reference to an assault. No additional details were reported. T. L. Eichelberger investigated.

Mar. 4 – Robert Anthony Evatt, 32, 13 Calhoun St., Williamston reported a bottle of Oxycodone pills taken from his home. He also reported a break-in at the residence that occurred about two weeks ago. Forced entry was gained by breaking a window at the back of the residence. Missing items included an Army ring, 5 karat tanzanite stone and a 6 karat black diamond, a 27 inch Samsung computer monitor was stolen and had been replace by a different computer monitor. Multiple tools and building supplies were also taken from an outbuilding. Total value of the missing items was $22,010. M. Beeman investigated.

Mar. 4 – Sonya Dee Williams, 52, 3 Brookvale Dr., Williamston reported her new landlord called her over 20 times in one day demanding rent and threatend her. Officers were to speak to a magistrate about having a warrant issued on the new landlord for unlawful communication. M. Beeman investigated.

Mar. 6 – Jacob Austin McJunkin, 19, 405 Dean Springs Rd., Belton was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and no SC drivers license after officers observed a white van on Academy St,. with a shatterd front windshield. A black digital scale with a green leafy substance on it was found in his jacket pocket. McJunkin was arrested and transported to ACDC withou incident. S. N. Robison investigated.

Mar. 6 – Sonya Dee Williams, 52, 3 Brookvale Dr., Williamston reported vandalism in which a light bulb in her carport was broken and a bulb in the back of the house removed. Someone also tampered with a heating unit causing it to not work. Damage was estimated at $210. M. Beeman.
