The County Sheriff’s Office investigated a fatal stabbing incident last Thursday (July 7) at 503 Old Piedmont Hwy Lot 2 (Shady Rest Mobile Home Park). According to reports, upon arrival, Deputies found a victim inside the home suffering from at least one wound. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Greenville County Sheriff’s Office Violent Crimes investigators were investigating the incident. According to the GCSO, the parties that were involved were siblings, a brother and sister. The stabbing took place during a physical assault. At the time of the news update from the GCSO, it appeared to be self defense. Violent Crimes investigators will be consulting with the Solicitors Office to make the final determination.
