Williamston Police Officers investigated the following:

Oct. 4 – Connie Davis Craigo, 75, 33 Main St., W. Pelzer reported two 14 ct. gold rings valued at $500 were taken from her car while at 100 East Main Street. Z. T. Parks investigated.

Nov. 2 – Mary-Louise J. Wise, 58, 26 E. Main St., Williamston reported identity theft in which someone attempted to issue two credit cards with her name and social, but different addresses. M. Roberts, E. Bonnett investigated.

Nov. 2 – Parents of two male students were arrested and issued courtesy summons for contributing to the delinquency of a minor after officers observed two subjects fighting.

According to reports, officers observed a large group of people between the district office and the middle school and investigated. The crowd quickly dispersed. Both subjects were located in cars and both had a parent on the scene.All parties were relocated to the police department where Karla Jo Kelly, 34, 472 Bryant Rd., Pelzer and Jessica Sue Ann Bearden were issued courtesy summons for the offense. Nov. 3 – Williamston officers investigated vandalism at the amphitheater in Mineral Spring Park. According to reports a female wearing a black tank top damaged the amphitheater and was accompanied by a light skinned black male with a grey hoodie. Sgt. L. E. Mulz investigated.

Nov. 3 – Anna Nichole Hines, 29, 120 Terrapin Dr., Williamston was arrested for three outstanding bench warrants with Easley city after officers were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident on Main St. at Oak St. Hines was also charged with manner of driving and operating an uninsured vehicle. Sgt. L. E. Mulz investigated.

Nov. 4 – Williamston police officers recovered a stolen moped that was reported in a ditch on Crawford Street. The 2011 Kaitong Mediduo 150 cc moped, valued at $1000, was stolen out of Greenville County. It was towed by Main St. Motors. T. L. Eichelberger investigated.

Nov. 7 – A representative of Shield Asset Management reported extensive damage to a residence at 201 Duckworth St., in Williamston. According to reports, the house had been vacant for at least five months and that unknown persons have been in the residence causing damage. There was extensive damage to the windows, flooring, walls, kitchen cabinets, bathrooms, ceiling and furniture. Windows and doors were missing. Damage was estimated at $20,000. E. Bonnett, M. Roberts investigated.

Nov. 7 – Shawn Stephen Martin, 39, 6 Little Beaver Creek Williamston was arrested for shoplifting and possession of methamphetamine after officers were dispacthed to Dollar General, 526 West Main St., regarding a shoplifting incident. According to reports, Martin took a Red Bull from the shelf, opened it and began drinking it while he shopped.He was also observed taking a large bottle of Arm and Hammer laundry detergent and a bottle of Clorox 2 off the shelf and pouring the Clorox 2 into the Arm and Hammer container. When he was confronted and given the chance to pay for the items, he put the Arm and Hammer back and attempted to pay for another detergent. Due to his attempts to deprive the store and concealment of items he was placed under arrest for shoplifting and placed on trespass for the store. While in route to jail, Martin advised the officer that he had meth in his left sock. A warrant was being sought for the meth which weighed 0.7 grams. Sgt. L. E. Mulz investigated.

Nov. 7 – Pamela Denise Dean, 44, 18 Brown St,. Williamston was arrested for violation of a beginners permit after a blue mini van was observed parked in the street on Brown Street. R. Drennon investigated.

Nov. 7 – Colt Lamar Poore, 28, 7 E. First St., Williamston was arrested for burglary after officers were dispatched to 11 East First St. in reference to a larceny. According to reports a light was seen inside the house where no one was supposed to be. Poore and another male were observed coming out of the residence, which belongs to his grandmother.

Upon investigation items including a furnace and washing machine had been moved and the entire house was ransacked.

Also officers were made aware that a female at Poores residence at 7 E. Frist St. had active warrants. Heather Dobbins was arrested for a warrant through probation and parole and was transported to ACDC. Sgt. L. E. Mulz investigated.
