West Pelzer firefighters survey the scene of a wreck on US 29 near Moores Mill Road late Saturday night. Shane Matthew Goodwin, 47, of Pelzer died after his motorcycle was struck from the rear by a car. The cycle lodged into the front of the car and Goodwin was ejected onto the hood of the car. He was pronounced dead at the scene by Deputy Coroner Charlie Boseman. Pelzer EMS also responded to the wreck. (Photo by David Rogers)
