Greenville County Sheriff’s deputies watch as Piedmont firefighters cut the driver out of a car. The driver ran off Highway 20 near Estes Plant Road and struck a metal pole. The driver was taken to Greenville Memorial Hospital by Greenville County EMS. Highway 20 was closed for about an hour until the wreckage was cleared. (Photo by David Rogers)
