Authorities are investigating the death of a 60-year-old man after a reported disturbance in Woodruff. Spartanburg County Coroner Rusty Clevenger said the victim died around 4:55 a.m. Sunday at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
The victim has been identified as Ronald Keith Crowe, 60, of Piedmont.
The Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office said deputies found Crowe unresponsive when they responded to a disturbance at a home on Miller Road around 4:30 a.m. Sunday.
Clevenger said investigators believe Crowe was in an altercation before he was transported to the hospital by EMS.
