Sixty animals evacuated from the low country to the Greenville Humane Society earlier
this week need “forever homes”, but while they wait to get adopted, they can
rest their head on a locally-made Snoozer bed.

Gary O’Donnell, VP of Sales and Marketing of Snoozer Pet Products, an upstate South
Carolina manufacturer of premium pet products, located in Piedmont, will be hand delivering 60 pet beds to the Greenville Humane Society Monday at the Greenville Humane Society’s facility at 305 Airport Drive.

The Greenville Humane Society is the 2nd largest No-Kill facility in the Southeast
behind Atlanta and is already over capacity with more than 200 animals waiting
on forever homes.  The organization is doing everything it can to provide
shelter and care for the homeless animals but needs the help of the community
more than ever.

In an effort to help Greenville Humane Society get more adoptions, Snoozer will
also be donating a free Snoozer pet bed to anyone who adopts a dog or cat in the
month of September.

“These dangerous storms put pets, and especially rescue pets at great risk.  We’re thankful for organizations like the Greenville Humane Society, and we encourage everyone in the Greenville area
thinking of adoption to come now and help out these lifetime companions.  Dogs
are your friend for life.” said Gary O’Donnell VP of Sales and Marketing of
Snoozer Pet Products.

ABOUT
GREENVILLE HUMANE SOCIETY
The Greenville Humane Society is the 2nd largest No-Kill facility in the Southeast behind
Atlanta. Through our network of over 30 shelters, we have lowered the euthanasia
rate across the entire region. We are also the leading provider of low cost
vaccines and spay and neuter services in the Upstate. We do not receive funding
from the government, United Way or national animal welfare organizations, but
rely solely on funds from day to day operations, generous contributions from
private donors and corporations and volunteer time totaling over 40,000 hours
last year.
