Florida homicide suspect arrested in Easley

A Florida homicide suspect, Erick Lopez, was arrested by US Marshals Sunday in Easley.
According to the Palm Beach County Sheriffs Office, on July 4, the suspect and a victim got into an altercation that resulted in Lopez fatally shooting Arturo Arriga of West Palm Beach.
During the investigation, detectives identified Erick Lopez, H/M, 24, as the suspect who shot the victim Arriga.
Lopez was located in Easley, and was taken into custody by the U.S. Marshals with the assistance of the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, members of the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office, the Easley Police Department and the Department of Homeland Security.  He was booked into the Pickens County Detention Center on PBC charges of First Degree Murder and Possession of a Weapon by a Convicted Felon.
