One person was killed and two others were injured Tuesday afternoon on Highway 20 at Davis Road. A Greenville county deputy stopped a Kia on Davis Road and then the driver drove off from the deputy. The driver of the Kia apparently disregarded a stop sign at Davis Road and a sport utility vehicle collided with the Kia. The driver of the Kia died shortly afterwards. A passenger in the Kia and the driver of the SUV were taken to the hospital by Greenville County EMS. South Greenville and Gantt firefighters also responded to the wreck.
