For COVID vaccine

Under the state’s recent guidance for the roll-out of the COVID-19 vaccine, AnMed Health has begun scheduling appointments for residents over age 70. Established patients in this age group will receive instructions via MyChart for scheduling an appointment at AnMed’s Civic Center vaccination clinic. Walk-ins are not being accepted at this time.
Patients who do not have a MyChart account can set one up by visiting https://MyChart.anmedhealth.org.

AnMed officials said they anticipate that initial appointments will fill up very quickly, and they are committed to making additional appointments available as soon as they receive more of the vaccine.
Those eligible for vaccination may also visit scdhec.gov/vaxlocator for information about additional sites offering the vaccine.
Public Relations Coordinator Lizz Walker said, “We are excited about this important step toward a return to more normal conditions. However, as the vaccination roll-out continues, we ask residents to continue wearing a mask in public, socially distancing, and washing hands often.
Those eligible for the vaccine with specific questions about scheduling, visit Covidvaccine@anmedhealth.org.
