The Towns of Pelzer and West Pelzer will hold municipal elections on Nov. 7.
Eddie Waits and Cruz West have signed up to run for the two open seats on Pelzer Town Council. Polling will be at Life Journey Church, 2 Wesleyan Dr. in Pelzer.
In West Pelzer Tom Scarfo and Tim Williams have signed up for two open seats on Town Council. James (Jim) Riddle, Sr. signed up to run for the open mayor seat. Mayor Blake Sanders announced recently that he did not intend to run again for mayor.
The polling place for West Pelzer will be the West Pelzer Fire Department, 101 Main Street West Pelzer.
People desiring to vote in the upcoming election must be registered by October 8. To register, one must contact the Anderson County Board of Voter Registration.
