The Rhodes Respite Care Program and Health Ministry of First Presbyterian Church in Anderson will offer a program on Community Services and Communication Techniques When Caring for Persons with Alzheimer’s.
This is a free program scheduled for 8:45 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 28. There will be a light breakfast at 8:15 a.m..
The program will feature a panel of area specialists to talk about local resources for the first hour. Jan Merling, from USC, School of Public Health will speak 10-noon.
She is a presenter for the statewide education program for families and professionals entitled Dementia Dialogues.
There is no cost for the program but reservations are requested. Call 225-2551 by April 25th.
If a no-cost in home sitter is needed in order to attend, please call several weeks in advance for details.
