Part time temporary Early Voting workers needed for June Primaries

The Anderson County Board of Elections is looking for workers to help with early voting for the June 11 Primary.
Early Voting will be conducted at the County Election office, 301 N Main Street in Anderson and the Powdersville Branch Library, 4 Civic Court in Powdersville.
Early Voting for June 11 Statewide Primary begins May 28 – June 7, M-F, 8:30 AM -5 PM.
There will likely be a June 25th Runoff election with Early Voting beginning June 19 – June 21, W-F, 8:30 AM -5 PM.
“Our goal is to hire and train workers to conduct Early Voting AND be available to work at our County Election office on Election Day” a spokesperson said.
Election workers will be responsible for setting up polling stations, checking voter IDs, issuing ballots, and assisting voters as needed. Training will be provided to all election workers.
Workers will be paid for training and election day work.
To work, one must be a registered voter in Anderson County or adjoining county and/or aged 16 or 17.
