Sam Wyche to speak at AA touchdown club

Former Cincinnati Bengals head coach Sam Wyche will be the guest speaker this Friday, September 28 at the weekly meeting of the Anderson Area Touchdown Club. Wyche is perhaps best known for introducing the “No-huddle offense” as a standard offense and led the Bengals to Super Bowl XXIII. Coach Wyche played professionally for 10 years.

The Club honored the following outstanding players and coach of the week on Friday, September 21st: Offensive – Jacob Clary, Wren; Defensive – Eric Boggs, BHP; Lineman – Dillon Coleman, BHP and Coach – Jeff Tate of Wren.

The Club meets at the Anderson County Library (300 North McDuffie Street). The meal line opens at 11:30am with the program beginning at 12:10pm. Visitors are welcome with the meal cost of $15. Individual memberships are $50 and a Corporate membership (includes 5) is $200.
