Williamston Police Officers investigated the following:
Aug. 14 – Sav-Way, 305 East Main St., Williamston reported a gas drive-off in which an unknown male drove up to the gas pumps in a burgundy 4 dr. car, paid for $5 in gas and pumped $10.18 worth in gas. A family member came back and paid the remaining balance. No charges were filed. Sgt. K. J. Winn investigated.
Aug. 13 – Ace Hardware, 29 Pelzer Ave., reported a Stihl weedeater valued at $200 which was in the shop for repair was stolen. J. B. Sanders investigated.
Aug. 14 – A 24-year-old Pelzer man reported that he was assaulted by approximately 10 black males in the woods behind the Veterans Park. Reports state the man had minor scratches and abrasions on his chest and back.Sgt. K. J. Winn investigated.
Aug. 15 – Brittany Nicole Star Richardson, 22, 202 Hardy St., Williamston was placed on trespass notice for 123 Hardy St. J. Rogers investigated.
