Supports Girls State
The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 121 located at 1610 Anderson Dr. in Williamston, will be having a yard sale on October 26 to raise funds to support girls from our area to attend Palmetto Girls State. The American Legion Auxiliary is a non-profit organization that supports veterans and the community. They help send at least two girls from Palmetto High to participate in the program which teaches girls about government and helps them to become better leaders for the future.
