The Palmetto Holiday Market and Christmas Tree Tour will be held on Saturday (Nov. 23) from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Municipal Center in Williamston. Local vendors will offer a variety of local produce and products.
Free coffee, cookies and mini-muffins donated by Gypsy Catering will be available to shoppers to enjoy while they visit vendors and tour the Christmas tree display in the Municipal Center. A limited number of free gift bags will also be on hand, to help wrap holiday purchases. “Join the Palmetto area in a celebration of local and sustainable businesses. Buy local this Christmas!” organizers Rebecca McKinney said.
Vendors will include Bio-Way Farm, Carolina Grassfed Beef, Happy Critters Ranch and H&G Produce who will be selling kale, collard greens, sweet potatoes, mustard greens, turnips, red and green savoy cabbage, turnips, beef, pork and soap. Other vendors include Appalachian Organics (organic gardening supplies), RyaRa (crocheted and sewn products), Melinda’s Apothecary, Jeremiah Clock Designs, Sew Peas (soap), Mushroom Mountain, Meadowlark Farms (hand-stenciled totes), and a variety of local vendors who offer knit products, hemp jewelry and other gift items. Touch the Earth Aromatics will offer a “create your own” aromatherapy gift option.
