When answering calls, Emergency Responders and others rely heavily on highly visible 911 Address Signs to help them locate your house more quickly in the event of an emergency situation.  Being committed to your safety, the Cheddar Fire Department is now taking orders for these signs. “Having them displayed throughout the community provides the fastest service and response time possible to you and your neighbors when in need,” a fire department spokesperson said.

The vertical mounted signs are blue, 18 inches long and 6 inches wide with extremely reflective white 3” high intensity prismatic numbers that can be seen from very long distances, especially at night.
The cost per sign is only $18 with all proceeds going toward building maintenance and repairs of the Cheddar Fire Department so that we can provide the best possible service to our community said Fire Chief, Donnie Epps.
Members of the Fire Department and the Ladies Auxiliary will be at the Cheddar Fire Department on Highway 20 on February 8th from 10am until noon to take your order.  It is requested that you make checks out to the Cheddar Fire Department or cash is always accepted.  Orders will be taken every second Saturday of each month until further notice.  The signs will be made locally and you will be notified when your sign is available for pick up, said the Chief.
