In 2014, the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office took more than 400 reports concerning fraud, forgery, and identity theft. In order to effectively investigate these crimes, investigators must have specific information from the victim.

Anderson County Sheriff John Skipper recently announced a new addition to his agency’s website which he hopes will assist citizens in gathering this necessary information.

“We have seen a significant increase in this type of crime but a lot of people are unaware of what they need to provide in order to help us with our investigation; so, we have put together a document that includes exactly what is needed from the victim in order to handle these cases”, stated Skipper.

The new document, entitled White Collar Crimes Information Sheet can be accessed on the Sheriff’s Office webpage at http://www.andersonsheriff.org.
