Palmetto High AFJROTC Cadets complete Cadet Leadership Course

Twenty-five Palmetto High School AFJROTC cadets successfully completed the Southeast Region Cadet Leadership Course (CLC) held recently at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia.

This year’s CLC was comprised of 234 cadets, representing 16 high schools from Alabama, Georgia, and South Carolina. The cadets participated in rigorous training in five categories: academics, physical training, regulation drill, personal inspections, and room inspections.

They earned the Overall Unit of Excellence Award and 11 individual awards/recognitions. Following is a list of cadet awards/recognitions.

(The following Palmetto High School AFJROTC cadets previously completed the CLC Basic Course. Based upon their performance during the Basic Course, they were chosen by a Cadre Selection Board, consisting of AFJROTC Instructors, to return as CLC leaders. With Instructor supervision and guidance, the Cadre planned, organized, and executed the CLC training plan.
