All types of Volkswagens including campers, restored, custom and rails will be back in Williamston this weekend. The Steve White Creekside Volkswagen Camp Out and Show will be held September 11th and 12th.
On Friday (Sept. 11), camping will be allowed in the park by reservation only starting at 5 pm. At 8 pm there will be Music Trivia with a DJ from the United Kingdom with prizes for the winning team.
Last year more than 30 VW Buses, Rabbits, and Bugs and many with tents camped out next to Big Creek in Williamston’s Mineral Spring Park. For more information on camping, or to register to camp, please contact Blake Sanders at email@example.com
On Saturday, (Sept. 12), a VW only cruise-in style show will be held from 10 am until 4 pm. Last year the show offered close-up views of 115 VW’s from vintage to new. Local VW part and memorabilia distributors will have select items available for purchase.
This year the Steve White Creekside show is partnering with the Homesteading Festival to offer over 50 craft and food vendors as well as countless homesteading classes. Door prizes will be held every hour throughout the day for show attendees. Show vehicle registration is not required.
The event is 100% free both days and open to the public due to the continued support of Steve White Volkswagen.
