According to SSgt. J. Foster of the Anderson County Sheriff’s Department, an Anderson County Sheriff’s Deputy was transported to the hospital Sunday after a potential fentanyl exposure on a call for service at an address on Rock Moss Drive near Williamston.
At the time the Deputy was awake and alert but experiencing breathing difficulties.
Investigation of the incident is still ongoing.
