The Williamston Police Department and Anderson County Coroners officer are investigating the death of a 7 month old female. Williamston Police Chief Jay Grubbs, Deputy Coroner Don McCown, Deputy Corner Josh Shore are shown at the scene. As of Tuesday evening, no official cause of death has been determined and the incident remains under investigation according to Williamston Police Chief Jay Grubbs. The incident happened on Ellison Street in Williamston Tuesday around noon. The baby was found unresponsive in a playpen officials said. An autopsy will be performed Wednesday.
