Police investigate porch theft

Williamston police officers investigated theft of items from a front porch and made arrests for a variety of minor incidents. Among incidents investigated were:

Sept. 18 – George Calvin Henry, 52, 7 College St., Williamston reported items missing from his front porce including a clothes washer, white metal patio table and black metal base of a kitchen table. The items were valued at $180. Capt. E. S. Russell investigated.

Sept. 24 – Heather Raie Jeckel, 21, 203 Forest Hills Dr., Williamston was arrested for driving under suspension and speeding 38mph in a 30 mph zone after a vehicle was observed on Tripp St. M. E. Simmons investigated.

Sept. 20 – Juan Erasmo Rayna, 36, 1114 N Franklin Rd., Greenville was arrested for no SC drivers license in possession after a gold Nissan van was observed at a license check on Ida

Tucker and Cherokee. R. E. Bell investigated.

Sept. 21 – Anthony Leon Darnell, 52, 4 Hoyt St., Pelzer was placed on trespass notice for 107A E. Main St. J. Rogers, Codes/Ofc. J. Harris investigated.

Sept. 22 – Deven Alexander Brenning, 21, 2131 Beaver Dam Rd., Williamston was arrested for outstanding bench warrant for driving under suspension after the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office notified WPD that he was in custody. D. M. Stipe investigated.

Sept. 22 – Daryl Wayne Howell, 38, 410 S. E. Main St., Williamston was arrested for defective equipment and driving under suspension after a red Ford Explorer was observed on Greenvile Dr, with a defective headlight. SC J. H. Smith, SC B Hardy invetigagated.

Sept. 23 – Rancesine Norman, 49, 625 Scott Rd., Anderson was arrested for open container and speeding after a green Ford SUV was observed on Anderson Drive traveling 43 mph in a 35 mph zone. SC B. Hardy, SC J. H. Smith investigated.

Sept. 19 – Jennifer Ann Sexton, 39, 110 Pinewood Dr., Williamston was arrested for public disorderly conduct after officers were dipatched to 118 Williamston Court. L. E. Mulz investigated.
