A Wren firefighter puts down oil dry to absorb vehicle fluids following an accident on River Road Thursday night. A truck pulling a trailer was traveling north on River Road when he saw an oncoming car apparently in his lane. He swerved to the right side of the road to avoid a collision but his truck and trailer were still struck by the oncoming car. A passenger in the truck was taken to Greenville Memorial Hospital by Pelzer EMS. Neither driver was injured. (Photo by David Rogers)
