The second Palmetto Farmers Market will be held this Saturday, June 1, at Mineral Spring Park in Williamston in conjunction with the ParkFest Celebration.
Vendors will be there from 8 a.m. until early afternoon with a variety of locally grown and locally produced items, including beef, soap, all-natural insect repellant, herb and vegetable plants, honey, aprons, and hats.
The all-local market invites growers and producers from Anderson, Greenville and Pickens counties to join them at a series of markets at the park on festival days. The next three will be held June 29 (4th of July Festival); August 24 (Spring Water Festival); and October 5 (Homesteading Festival).
