Six members of the Hudson Berry chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, took part in the Fork Shoals Christmas parade near Pelzer on the afternoon of Dec. 1, 2013. Fork Shoals was the home area of chapter namesake Hudson Berry. After the parade, the ladies went to place a bay leaf wreath on the grave of Hudson Berry, and a greenery and nandina berry wreath on the grave of his wife Sarah.
