Facing multiple charges in Anderson, Abbeville Counties

rsz_poole_jr_michael_andrew_photoThe Abbeville County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man earlier today who is facing multiple charges in Abbeville and Anderson counties.

Michael Andrew Poole, Jr. was located just after 1 pm Monday (Aug. 10) by an Abbeville County deputy checking for him in the area of Fire Tower Road in Abbeville. He was taken into custody without incident.

Due to pending charges in Abbeville, he was transported to the Abbeville County Detention Center.

Poole also faces numerous charges in Anderson County including attempted murder, resisting arrest, burglary, receiving stolen goods, possession of a stolen vehicle and failure to stop for blue lights.

Poole also has nine outstanding bench warrants resulting from previous charges.

Anderson County Sheriff John Skipper said, “Numerous man-hours were spent attempting to track down Poole and both Sheriff Watson and I appreciate the information and support we received from people in the community. We were determined to locate him in order to stop his continuing crime spree.”
