One person escaped serious injury Friday night after the vehicle they were driving ran off East Main Street and struck a power pole. The pole broke and fell into the roadway. Williamston firefighters along with Medshore Ambulance Service responded to the call. Main Street was closed until the pole was removed. (Photo by David Rogers)
