Williamston Police Officers investigated the following incidents:
Jan. 10 – Barbara Kaye Strickland, 55, 103 Blossom Branch Rd., Piedmont was issued a summons for driving under suspension after officers were dispatched to E. Main and S. Green Street in reference to a person having car issues. According to reports the gold Chevrolet Tahoe she was driving kept stalling in the middle of the road. T. L. Eichelberger investigated.
Jan. 8 – Jackson Nicholas Miranda, 20, 647 Cherokee Rd., Pelzer was arrested for driving under suspension and reckless driving after officers observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on Belton Drive. No additional information provided. C. D. Brown, J. Sparks investigated.
Jan. 10 – Bailee Kristen Timmons, 22, 620 Hamilton St,. Williamston reported an auto breakin in progress at 620 N. Hamilton St. No additional information provided. C. D. Brown, J. Sparks investigated.
Jan. 17 – Leler Ruth Blanding, 55, 9 Randall St., Williamston reported a bicycle valued at $60 stolen from her residence. The bicycle was described as silver and burgundy Power Climber with 18 different speeds. The suspect was described as a white male about 5’5” tall wearing a black hoodie. C. Parker investigated.
Jan. 12 – Kentaviouis Tydell Boozer, 29, 1409 Roper Mountain Rd., Greenville was arrested for driving under suspension and pedestrian under the influence after a silver Chevrolet Cavalier struck the sidewalk in front of the park on West Main St. The vehicle was located on E. Main St. with both passenger tires flat. Additional details not provided. D. R. Hart investigated.
